It is my opinion that for leaders to succeed in an ever more competitive and complex world they need to be committed to building the authentic power of their own Personal Brand. To put it simply…what are you committed to? What do you stand for? Who are you...honestly? AND most importantly how do you represent that to all people in your work and personal life? People cannot see inside of us – the recognition of our beliefs and abilities can ONLY come from what people see us do – the perception they form from observing our everyday actions, appearance and behaviour.

We make the most lasting and vivid impressions as a person and as a leader when people witness us being true to our beliefs, staying in alignment with who and what we really are – that's authenticity!

Buddhism teaches the concept of mindfulness at the risk of greatly simplifying a very profound idea – mindfulness means the endeavor to be conscious and present as you move through each moment of your life. If you are being true to your personal brand, those choices will reflect the way you think, the way you feel and the values to which you resonate as an individual, a friend or a leader! In other words, you must be conscious of what you want your life to be about (YOUR PURPOSE), what you want to achieve in your life (YOUR VISION) and what will guide your decisions (YOUR VALUES)…putting it simply, "it is your purpose that inspires you, your vision that motivates you and your values that guide you"
